Job Summary
Entry-level Manufacturing Novice in prestressed concrete production. Responsibilities include supporting mold, form, and reinforcement setup; assisting with pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete; measuring, cutting, and assembling materials; following blueprints and safety protocols; and gaining hands-on experience with tools and machinery under experienced supervision. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, read a tape measure, read production prints, and adapt to varying shifts including early mornings, nights, overtime, or weekends. On-the-job training emphasizes prestressed concrete production processes such as casting, tensioning, and curing; safety standards and PPE are enforced across the facility in Central and South Florida facilities. Required Qualifications
- Can read and pass a tape measure test
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required (construction/manufacturing a plus)
- Strong communication and ability to follow directions
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Able to read production prints/instructions from a tablet or learn to do so
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and PPE usage (boots, hardhat, gloves; potential safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask)
