Job Summary
Repair and maintain all assets in the production facility by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot malfunctions using precision measuring instruments, and perform corrective maintenance work orders while filling out all required paperwork. Monitor and adjust equipment speeds, temperatures, and liquid levels to control downtime and keep the line running at top efficiency. Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, checking inventory levels, and anticipating needed parts and supplies. Requires experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and ability to read blueprints and machine schematics. Required Qualifications
- Read and follow SOPs or instructions
- Computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Competency in monitoring and adjusting equipment speeds, temperatures, and liquid levels
- Identify and troubleshoot complex process issues
- Make mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred ability to read blueprints, electrical prints, and machine schematics
- Advanced knowledge with preferred 2 plus years experience in plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment
- Certification of technical schooling in this area
