Job Summary
Repair and maintain all assets in the production facility by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing devices, listening for issues, and using precision measuring instruments to locate problem sources. Perform corrective maintenance work orders, fill out paperwork, and manage inventory levels for equipment and parts. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine techniques and assisting to keep lines running at top efficiency. Requires experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency in making mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments. Required Qualifications
- Read and follow SOPs or instructions
- Computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Competency in monitoring and adjusting equipment speeds, temperatures, and liquid levels
- Identify and troubleshoot complex process issues
- Make mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred ability to read blueprints, electrical prints, and machine schematics
- Advanced knowledge with preferred 2 plus years experience in plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment
- Certification of technical schooling in this area
