Job Summary
Manufacturing Mechanic on the 2nd shift responsible for installation and removal of equipment (pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, cables, chains, pipes, valves, tanks), repair and operation of facility equipment, and uphold GMP and safety standards. Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent, ~2 years of industrial maintenance experience, proficiency in blueprint Reading and math, strong communication and teamwork, and willingness to participate in apprenticeship-type and safety trainings (LOTO, food safety, fork truck). On-site role in Elwood, IN with standard mechanical duties, training, and shift flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum industrial maintenance experience
- Pass Bennett Mechanical test
- Basic math skills, geometry, blueprint/diagram reading
- On-the-job training including apprenticeship-type training
- Confined space training
- Lock out/Tag out training
- Food Safety for Maintenance/GMP training
- Fork truck Training
Desired Qualifications
