Manufacturing Material Handler

Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the proper and timely flow of all materials and products from arrival until stored or shipped. Key responsibilities include receiving, stocking, and disbursing parts, loading and unloading trucks, unpacking and checking goods against invoices, maintaining records, examining stocks, and preparing merchandise for shipment. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, a forklift certificate, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift certificate required or education in-progress
- Excellent organizational skills, material stocking, identification, and record keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accommodate changes
- Must have experience with detail-oriented work
- Ability to work in an open aired non-temperature-controlled environment
- Willingness to work overtime and a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- 2 Years’ experience shipping with UPS/Worldship/Shipstation/FedEx/FedEx Ship Manager
- Previous experience as a material handler
- Automotive and/or battery industry experience.
- Warehouse, receiving, or shipping software experience.
- Work experience in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
