Job Summary
Manufacturing Manager for the Training Systems team leads a union-technician workforce in flight-simulator manufacturing and delivery, coordinating safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets, and driving lean process improvements. The role interfaces with program managers, customers, and manufacturing leadership to set priorities, manage capacity and risk, and develop organizational plans and procedures. Requires a U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance; 100% onsite in Hazelwood, MO with relocation not provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
- at least one year of experience in a leadership role or equivalent Boeing leadership training
- 1+ years of experience in LEAN manufacturing and performance metrics
- 3+ years of experience in sheet metal, composite, machining, woodworking fabrication assembly methods and common shop practices
