Job Summary
Lead all manufacturing activities within the RF Power business area, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective product delivery to Healthcare, Industrial, and Defence markets. Manage a team of Manufacturing Team Leaders and personnel to drive operational excellence, while developing workforce capability, flexibility, and engagement through coaching and succession planning. Plan and allocate resources to meet demand, optimize manufacturing flow, and implement recovery plans for constraints and risks. Develop and monitor key operational KPIs, embed continuous improvement principles, and lead automation initiatives to enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with quality management systems, safety policies, and regulatory standards, while managing budgets and cost reduction initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Programme teams to translate customer requirements into operational delivery plans.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of leading manufacturing teams within a complex manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of delivering improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity
- Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills
- Experience of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capability supported by data-driven decision making
- Experience of managing manufacturing resources and capacity planning activities
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrialisation and production planning
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing compliance requirements
- Experience working within high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments producing highly engineered products
- Financial awareness including budgetary responsibility, cost management and productivity improvement
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and change leadership skills
- Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- ERP system experience (SAP S/4HANA desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
