Job Summary
Manufacturing Manager leads metals stamping/fabrication operations in Minnesota facilities, driving KPI performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost), CAPEX project justification, and continuous-improvement initiatives. Oversees 5-8 direct reports across scheduling, fabrication, assembly, and shipping/receiving; collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, HR, and senior leadership to optimize production, quality, and customer satisfaction while maintaining ISO QMS compliance and export-control considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Transition Leadership: Fast Growth > 15% per year, including operational turnarounds and fast expansions
- Ability to provide technical oversight with understanding of metal products and processes
- Proven success in contract manufacturing, producing 1000+ SKUs for 10+ customers
- Understanding and ability to pull data and analyze metrics related to budgets, KPI's, and efficiency reporting
- Cultural change agent with leadership, influencing and mentoring skills
- Working knowledge of ERP systems within manufacturing environment; Epicor experience preferred
- Possible travel to Roseville, MN and Coon Rapids, MN facilities; export control considerations (ITAR) and US person eligibility
