Job Summary
Manage daily plant operations by overseeing department supervisors, assigning workloads, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. Identify manufacturing plans to achieve service targets, implement performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement projects while adhering to safety systems. Optimize labor and capital resources to balance budgets and schedule equipment maintenance efficiently. Lead open collaboration with other departments and external contacts to execute annual performance plans. Requires a B.S. in Engineering or Business Administration with 3+ years in a supervisor role and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or manager role
- Proficient use of computer based skills including Microsoft Office Suite and web based technologies
- Demonstrated manufacturing based project management and continuous improvement skills
- fundamental understanding of lean six sigma
- IPS
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) which includes active listening
- Ability to manage heavy workload within busy manufacturing environment
- successfully complete projects within assigned deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering, Business Administration or other (applicable) technical discipline
