Job Summary
Manufacturing Manager for the Fabric department responsible for leading fabric production operations across all shifts, driving cost-efficiency, waste reduction, and labor productivity while upholding safety, quality, and delivery standards.Responsibilities include leading daily operations, improving cost per yard and scrap reduction, monitoring KPIs, ensuring compliance with safety and SOPs, partnering with Engineering/Quality/Maintenance/Supply Chain, leading continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen), overseeing equipment upgrades and capacity growth, and developing high-performing teams through staffing, cross-training, and shift coordination. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Operations, 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred)
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven success improving cost, productivity, and scrap reduction
- Experience with Lean manufacturing (Six Sigma preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
