Job Summary
Manufacturing Manager leads and develops manufacturing teams within Boeing's Emergent Operations, driving execution of business plans, policies, and processes while coordinating resources, suppliers, and process improvements. Responsibilities include managing employees across multiple manufacturing disciplines; developing technical strategies and organizational plans; acquiring resources and providing technical management of suppliers; leading continuous improvement initiatives; building relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports; overseeing technical approaches, products, and processes; and mentoring staff to sustain a One BPS culture and robust production health. Strong interpersonal and coaching skills, ability to drive problem-solving, and experience in aerospace manufacturing are required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large-scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
