Job Summary
Manufacturing Manager role leading and developing multiple manufacturing teams on second shift in Auburn, WA. Responsibilities include leading, developing, and motivating employees across manufacturing disciplines; developing and implementing business plans and procedures; promoting safety, quality, and employee engagement; forecasting resource needs and managing personnel, facilities, equipment, and training; providing technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements; building relationships with customers and cross-functional partners; and overseeing approvals of technical approaches and processes. Requires strong verbal/written communication, leadership experience, and hands-on manufacturing/machining exposure; adherence to safety, quality, and lean/objectives; and the ability to drive a One BPS culture. Shift: 2. Relocation not negotiable. U.S. export controls and sponsorship considerations apply.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- Experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completed Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
