Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician on a Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM shift responsible for machine repair, preventive maintenance, installation assistance on capital projects, and startup of equipment. Performs maintenance on motors, pneumatic systems, production equipment; reads tape measures and technical materials; interprets work orders; maintains parts inventory; ensures safety standards; troubleshoots electrical and mechanical breakdowns; reads schematics and service manuals; collaborates with team and completes work orders in the system. Requires 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial maintenance, PLCs and drives experience, and ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting required
- familiar with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems (two or more)
- Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and evaluating PLCs and drives
- Have tools/ well-stocked toolbox
- Experience in industrial electrical panels, electrical machinery, and motor controls
- Read/analyze/interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform required maintenance and service
- Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and proactively take corrective action
- Excellent oral and computer communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to define and solve problems
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
