Job Summary
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, coordinating with the Maintenance Manager and team, managing parts inventory, analyzing root causes, and ensuring safety and efficiency across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment (including freezer conditions), and strong communication with production staff. PLC knowledge is a plus and experience with maintenance across multiple systems is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
- Proficiency in preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality
- Knowledge of PLC programs (a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks with agility
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, including occasional freezer conditions
