Job Summary
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment mechanically and electrically including machine shop machinery, overhead shop cranes, and production-related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns while conducting routine maintenance and safety checks. Communicate with the production team, maintain a clean work area, and prepare maintenance reports. This role supports Morgan Engineering's vision to challenge the possibilities of today through advanced material handling systems for the metals industry.
Required Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a manufacturing maintenance technician
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer and report writing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
