Job Summary
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment including industrial blenders, mixers, packaging systems (automated and manual), robotic machinery, pumps, valves, and pressure vessels. Collaborate with supervisors to perform repairs and preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical/electrical/control systems, initiate PM/PdM work orders, document activities, and analyze reports to improve asset operability, reliability, and safety. Ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM, and environmental regulations; maintain a clean, safe workspace; and support KPI targets. Requires experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, along with SPC knowledge and PLC/Ladder Logic familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with NEC and NFPA 70E standards
- Skilled in installing new equipment and modifying existing installations
- Proficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC): Control charts, standard deviation, Cpk
- Mechanical Skills: Read pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot pneumatic systems, manage V-belts, valves, motors, drives, and electrical enclosures
- Electrical Skills: Read electrical/control schematics, understand PLC hardware and Ladder Logic programming, electrical troubleshooting, and safety compliance
- Computer literate with strong communication skills
