Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery by cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure maximum uptime. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, and wiring, while installing and commissioning new equipment. Adhere to strict safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures during all tasks. Maintain accurate documentation in computerized maintenance management systems and support facility infrastructure like HVAC and plumbing. Requires proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics with experience in a manufacturing environment. Compensation is $30/HR.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and PLC troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capable of lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods, bending, and working at heights
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Hands-on experience with motors, conveyor systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, and specialized manufacturing equipment
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in cramped or uncomfortable spaces
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 25 years of experience in an industrial setting
- Gas Technician License (G-License): G2: Professional-level
- Master Electrician (ME) License
- 5 years experience
