Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, facilities support equipment, and physical plant systems while responding to maintenance calls for production and engineering staff. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing and facilities support equipment and systems, including HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and hydraulic systems. Execute special projects as assigned and comply with all safety, security, and PPE protocols. Work independently and in a team environment, reading schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Requires high school diploma, two years of experience in printed circuit board manufacturing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the Printed Circuit Board or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience with installation and repair of manufacturing and facilities support equipment
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Able to read and understand equipment manuals, schematics, shop drawings, blueprints and written work instructions
  • Able to walk, climb, sit, stand and kneel for the duration of work shift
  • Able to work on ladders, work platforms or roof as required
  • Able to wear PPE as required by environment, area or task
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills
  • Skilled in the use of standard hand, shop and power tools
  • Familiarity with the installation and repair of piping and plumbing systems using PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, copper and iron/steel
  • Ability to fabricate and weld in steel, stainless steel and Polypropylene
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft products
  • Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Self-starter able to work independently and in a team environment
