Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on light industrial machinery, equipment, and tools. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic hydraulic issues while repairing or replacing worn parts using hand and power tools. Conduct routine inspections of facility systems including lighting, HVAC components, and compressed air lines to identify potential issues. Respond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner while documenting all activities in maintenance logs or CMMS. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies. Requires high school diploma, 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, and proficiency with common tools. Supports continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or light industrial maintenance environment
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting principles
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work instructions
- Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documentation and work order systems
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certificate, vocational training, or associate degree in maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field
- Experience with conveyor systems, packaging equipment, or light manufacturing machinery
