Job Summary
Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician for 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) in Cudahy, WI. Responsible for installing, modifying, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and loading new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment. Tasks include installing and repairing electrical systems and electronic components of machinery; developing circuit layout sketches; wiring test setups; installing strain gauge circuits and recording instruments as required by the test program; verifying that specified electrical test conditions are met; and troubleshooting electrical portions of test equipment during tests. Must have proficiency with hand and power tools and test equipment; strong knowledge of electronics including resistors, capacitors, and transistors; understand complex safety interlocks and warning systems to mitigate risk. Compensation is $26–$32 per hour, with potential overtime and shift differential; benefits include medical, dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, disability, life insurance, tuition assistance, maternity/adoption assistance, and employee discounts. Required Qualifications
- Skill in the use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment
- Knowledge of electronics to electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors
- Ability to install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment
- Experience formulating layout sketches of required electrical circuits, wiring new test setups, installing strain gauge circuits and recording instruments as needed by test programs
- Ability to check installed systems to ensure specified electrical test conditions are attained
- Understanding of safety interlocks and complex safety systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical portions of test equipment during test programs
- Knowledge of electronics and related components
