Job Summary
Manufacturing Maintenance / Building Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing production machinery and facility systems; may assume Maintenance Lead responsibilities including coordinating work, vendor oversight, and project leadership. Responsibilities include directing maintenance technicians, scheduling PMs, coordinating work orders and timelines, ordering parts, managing external vendors, coordinating facility upgrades and capital improvements, ensuring safety audits (LOTO), training staff, and performing essential maintenance tasks. Skills emphasized: troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; reading manuals, blueprints, and schematics; implementing preventive maintenance; improving safety, efficiency, and productivity; strong teamwork and ability to work weekends/overtime; ability to document procedures and maintain PM records.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to read technical documentation and schematics
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership experience preferred for Maintenance Lead responsibilities
