Job Summary
Lead daily manufacturing operations by enforcing quality policies, managing production targets, and overseeing labor allocation and timesheets. Communicate safety concerns, drive continual operator training, and review processes to improve efficiency. Maintain accurate activity records, ensure full adherence to 6S practices, and participate in the Leadership Development Initiative. Collaborate with leadership and planners to optimize schedules while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Requires forklift certification, ability to lift 50 pounds, and standing for up to 12 hours. Available for any shift, weekends, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership and communication ability both verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Ability to perform basic math computations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn all primary and secondary department processes
- Ability to work independently and multitask with a wide variety of activities
- Forklift certified
- Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Must be available to work any shift, weekends, and/or overtime as required
- Be able to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
- Ability to routinely walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist
