Manufacturing Laboratory Technician - mAbs 1st Shift 8-hours (Monday - Friday and Rotating Weekends) 7:15am - 3:45pm

Job Summary

Execute upstream and downstream manufacturing operations for large-scale monoclonal antibody (mAb) production campaigns, including aseptic inoculation, mammalian cell culture maintenance, and purification techniques such as chromatography and ultrafiltration. Operate bioreactors and isolator gloveboxes while performing equipment cleaning-in-place and steam-in-place procedures. Manage inventory for materials and consumables, conduct sampling for in-process testing, and accurately complete process documentation in compliance with GMP standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues and adhere to safety protocols for biological and chemical handling. Work 1st shift (7:15am - 3:45pm) Monday through Friday with rotating weekends; overtime and holidays may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to read and follow written directions
  • Ability to complete basic calculations
  • Ability to think critically
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Knowledge of the metric system
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Monday - Friday and rotating weekends schedule
  • 1st Shift, 7:15am - 3:45pm (8-hours)
  • Overtime and holidays availability
  • Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards
  • Continuous standing
  • Lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale
