Job Summary
Manufacturing Laboratory Technician responsible for preparing and examining test specimens to ensure consistency and conformity, conducting chemical, mechanical, and physical materials tests with equipment such as microscopes, calipers, and hardness testers, recording detailed data, and maintaining lab tools and PPE. Works on multiple samples concurrently in a second-shift role at our East Windsor, CT site, supporting coating applications and quality checks for metal parts. Preferred certifications include IMR and MetCut.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ lab experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience running tests in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with measurement equipment (microscope, hardness tester, calipers, micrometers)
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent experience
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Motivated to learn
