Job Summary
Manufacturing IT Launch Program Manager responsible for owning the successful deployment of IT systems required to launch a new product across plant floor environments. Acts as the single point of accountability for launch execution across applications, infrastructure, controls, and cybersecurity technologies, with travel up to 75% to manufacturing sites. Leads IT-centric launch activities, coordinates with Product Execution Team, Master Dot meetings, and plant launch business teams, and drives end-to-end execution to meet objectives. Duties include managing launch milestones and risks, leading schedule progression and status updates, coordinating IT resource and contractor support, conducting system infrastructure and controls workshops, ensuring SAT/UAT readiness, leading T2O transitions, providing onsite support during acceleration, and communicating progress to Plant Management. Required qualifications emphasize 4+ years of program management in manufacturing, expertise in plant floor systems, network deployment, cybersecurity, Jira usage, and strong communication and stakeholder management; preferred qualifications include a BS/BA in a technical field and PMP certification. Strong travel readiness and ability to collaborate with technical teams and centers of excellence to align with enterprise standards are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant full-time experience as a program manager within manufacturing, automotive, plant floor environment or similar
- Experience leading and coordinating complex technical deliverables in a manufacturing or plant-floor environment
- Knowledge of plant floor systems, infrastructure, controls integration, network deployment, and cybersecurity implementation
- Knowledge and experience using Jira
- Manufacturing-related education, experience, or demonstrated interest in manufacturing
- PMP certification (preferred)
