Job Summary
Group Leader in Production, Quality, or Global Supply Chain (GSC) to lead teams and drive operational excellence across manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing and improving business processes, overseeing production activities, quality inspections, problem-solving, and contributing to Built-in-Quality initiatives. Apply independent judgment within the Global Manufacturing Systems framework with focus on SPQRCE (Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, Environment). Requires supervising experience, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends in an onsite manufacturing setting near Arlington, TX. Preferred knowledge includes CIP, TIP, Lean, DFSS, and experience in manufacturing/assembly processes; basic computer proficiency; and ability to read standardized work instructions and perform quality inspections.
Required Qualifications
- One year of direct supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader
- Experience managing, leading people, and addressing performance concerns
- Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict, and decision making
- Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Word, typing, email)
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts
- Must be available and willing to regularly work weekends to meet production demands
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
