Job Summary
Verify incoming parts against packing slips and purchase orders, then pack, stage, crate, and load finished products for shipment. Load and unload fabricated equipment, package and palletize items, and transport materials between departments using forklifts and overhead cranes. Monitor shipped products for quality, maintain the yard and inventory areas, and assist fabrication, paint, and assembly teams as production needs change. Comply with all safety policies and wear required PPE. This role requires operating equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and working on your feet in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Required Qualifications
- Has experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Likes staying active and working on their feet
- Can safely operate equipment or is willing to learn
- Takes pride in safety and in helping a team succeed
- Ability to use basic mathematics and measurements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others
- Agree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
