Job Summary
Operate all production equipment in the aseptic filling process, including fillers and cappers, while monitoring pressure gauges, speeds, and conveyors. Troubleshoot on-line situations, complete product hookups and blow downs, and interpret alarm conditions on sterilizing equipment. Maintain accurate documentation for production and quality reports, adhere to isolation procedures, and perform required sediment and chlorine checks. Ensure general housekeeping and sanitation by utilizing 5S cleaning tools to maintain a safe, organized work area. Work a night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience in operating filling equipment
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to learn and retain information
- Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull weights of more than 20 pounds/9 kilos on a regular/daily basis
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
- Must be able to walk for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day)
- Must be willing to work night shift (6:30pm - 7:00am EST)
- Must be willing to work a 12-hour rotational shift schedule
- Must be able to work in a clean room environment
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment
- Must be able to wear ear plugs
- Must be able to complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
- Must be in compliance with federal law regarding identity and eligibility to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a liquid manufacturing or packaging facility
- Forklift certified
