Job Summary
Manufacturing-Field Technician supports production, testing, and installation of electrical control panels and related equipment. Responsibilities include panel build (mounting and wiring), shipping/receiving assistance, printing wire/terminal/panel tags, off-site interface with manufacturing partners to verify progress and enforce standards, basic testing and inspection of equipment (on-site and off-site), cable assembly (solder and crimp connectors), preparing documentation for instruction books, and field installation/modifications/repairs. Desired candidates read electrical schematics, understand basic electricity, have soldering/crimping experience, operate basic hand tools, and possess basic computer skills; two years of panel-building experience and cranes/licensing are preferred. Travel 5-10%; authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Basic understanding of electricity
- Experience Soldering and Crimping
- Operation of basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
