Build and maintain the Parts Master database, including BOM structures, while manually aligning purchased and manufactured parts with proposed manufacturing methods. Apply optimal routes for manufacture considering schedule, cost, time, and capability, then gather proposals and drawings to generate quotations using bespoke tools and the EFACS ERP system. Establish make vs buy options, specify raw material dimensions, and obtain pricing from subcontractors for welding, coating, and spark erosion services. Populate the database with routing costs and stock parameters, assist in refining the quoting process, and carry out contract reviews to ensure technical compliance. Document any deviations from drawings or specifications in RFQ returns and adhere to customer RFQ deadlines during internal PPM meetings. Maintain BS EN ISO 9001 quality standards and health and safety regulations while promoting effective communication across the team.
