Job Summary
Optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, throughput, and cost efficiency while leading continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Design, implement, and troubleshoot automated systems and production lines, partnering with operations and leadership to drive plant performance. Analyze production data to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Support capital projects, including equipment upgrades and new line installations, utilizing expertise in PLC programming, robotics, and controls systems. This role targets engineers with 3–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or controls engineering across leading organizations in advanced manufacturing, automotive, and energy sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
- 3–10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Process optimization and production support
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced production environments
Desired Qualifications
- PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Experience with automation, robotics, or controls systems
- Capital project leadership experience
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
- Experience in high-volume or continuous manufacturing environments
