Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician III is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on production tooling, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining equipment, and ensuring production efficiency. Key skills include proficiency in basic measuring tools, expertise in preventative maintenance, and the ability to work autonomously. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 5+ years of manufacturing experience, and certification on MET levels one and two.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certified on MET level one and two
- Expert in preventative maintenance
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of ordering consumables and parts for maintenance
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in MIG or TIG welding
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of maintenance software
- Ability to machine and modify parts with a lathe and a mill
