Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor overseeing development and implementation of manufacturing processes to ensure product functionality and cost efficiency. Leads the junior manufacturing engineering team to drive continual improvement (safety, cost reduction, standardization, quality), designs supporting smooth transitions to manufacturing for new products, and collaborates with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams. Responsibilities include leading Kaizen projects, developing equipment for manufacturing, managing labor and material cost information, evaluating engineering changes, tracking quality actions with the Quality team, conducting time studies, training manufacturing process instructions, and supervising department performance. Requires teamwork, proactive problem-solving, data analysis, and adherence to ISO9001 and PCX safety guidelines; background check and drug screen are required. Location: Shelton, CT, USA (on-site).
