Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

Job Summary
Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes for custom ETO products, improving layout, work sequencing, and material flow; develop scalable models for low-to-medium volume, high-mix environments; drive line design, workstation definition, and assembly methodologies; establish material presentation, kitting, and visual management; implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives; evaluate and deploy manufacturing technologies, CAD/BOM/routing integration into MES, and tooling/fixtures to enhance quality and ergonomics; collaborate with design engineering, operations, and supply chain; support NPI and configuration-driven production setups; uphold standardized work and documentation, with a strong emphasis on manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and regulatory-aligned quality checks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process design, or production engineering
- Strong understanding of manufacturing process design, material flow, and factory layout
- Experience with CAD tools, ERP/MRP systems, and engineering-to-manufacturing integration
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and application
