Job Summary

Lead the Manufacturing Engineering and Automation team to drive production efficiency, throughput, and build time optimization while overseeing production line design, workflow, and equipment layout. Resolve critical line stoppages and complex manufacturing challenges through hands-on problem solving and root cause analysis, deploying Lean methodologies like value stream mapping to support continuous improvement. Own the manufacturing engineering strategy, tooling investments, and capital equipment planning to meet production requirements and support scalable, high-quality output. Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering to execute new product introductions and optimize manufacturing performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment (automotive, transportation, heavy equipment, or similar)
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Full-time site-based role
  • Experience with manufacturing process design, automation, tooling, and continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to supporting production
  • Experience leading projects and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
