Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead Manufacturing Engineering teams, including recruitment, resource planning, performance management, and mentoring. Develop engineering capability to support strategic initiatives, establish performance targets for quality, yield, and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement activities. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve production challenges, collaborate on process development for new product introductions, and manage departmental budgets and capital equipment investments. Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements during process and equipment validation. Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, minimum 10 years in regulated manufacturing, and 5 years in leadership. Located at the Springhill campus in Cork with onsite flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Master's degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic, Production Engineering, or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering leadership or management role
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing technical resources within a manufacturing environment
- #IJ Travel Percentage: 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Experience applying Six Sigma methodologies to process improvement and manufacturing problem solving
- Experience implementing manufacturing automation, process technologies, and capital equipment projects
- Experience managing manufacturing process and equipment validation activities
- Experience working across manufacturing, research and development, supplier, and multi-site environments
