Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Leadership role overseeing a team of Manufacturing Engineers for production and refurb operations; leads continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing, process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency; collaborates with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost; responsibilities include leading CI/Lean strategy, kaizen events, value stream mapping, time studies, standard work, line design, capacity ramp-ups, and capex justification; requires Bachelor's degree in a related field, 7+ years in manufacturing engineering/ops, 3+ years in people leadership, and Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and/or operations
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- CI tools and production systems
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Experience in high-mix or complex manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting both new production and refurb/remanufacturing operations
- Experience in growth or ramp-up manufacturing environments
- Manufacturing process design and optimization
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis (A3, 8D, etc.)
- Leadership and team development
- Data-driven mindset
- Clear, direct communication across organization
