Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for developing and improving manufacturing methods, equipment, layouts, and processes; drives continuous production improvement, quality enhancement, and cost reduction; collaborates with design, tooling, and vendors to ensure efficient manufacturing; leads documentation, budgeting, staffing, and project management; oversees maintenance and tooling; requires a BS degree and 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing; proficient in lean practices and ISO/AS quality programs; experience with injection molding tooling and assembly automation; strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (BSME/BSIE)
- Minimum of five years of related experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Hands-on manufacturing experience with automated processes including injection molding tooling and assembly automation
- Strong command of English (written and spoken) for effective communication with ITW units and leaders
- Practical experience leading lean manufacturing operations
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and project management skills
- Ability to manage complexity and drive cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve results
- Ability to lead through influence rather than direct managerial control
