Job Summary
Lead and scale a manufacturing engineering team to drive product industrialization, DFMA, and production ramp for boilers, steam systems, and heat pumps. Define and execute manufacturing strategies aligned to growth and electrification; partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Supply Chain, and Operations. Drive supplier quality and manufacturability; stand up and optimize test systems; design efficient production layouts; implement lean principles and develop capacity models, labor standards, and capital plans. Establish robust documentation, work instructions, and training; ensure compliance with ASME, UL/ETL/CSA, and HVAC standards; champion safe practices for high-pressure, high-temperature, and refrigerant systems. Demonstrate hands-on leadership with technical judgment, execution focus, and collaboration across functions to scale operations in a fast-growing, decarbonizing sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
- 10+ years in manufacturing engineering (thermal systems, HVAC, boilers, or industrial equipment)
- 3–5+ years leading engineering teams
- Deep DFMA experience for thermal/fluid systems
- Experience scaling from pilot to full production
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer, pressure systems, and electro-mechanical assembly
- Experience with welding, brazing, machining, forming
- ASME pressure vessel manufacturing experience (Nice to Have)
- Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) (Nice to Have)
- ERP/MRP and manufacturing analytics familiarity (Nice to Have)
