Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager leads a team of manufacturing engineers, maintenance technicians, and support staff to optimize production processes, enhance equipment reliability, and manage capital projects. Responsible for implementing lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma initiatives, analyzing production data to address bottlenecks and quality issues, developing a comprehensive equipment maintenance strategy (preventive and predictive), coordinating maintenance for all production equipment and facilities, planning capital upgrades and process enhancements, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while managing budgets and collaborating with procurement and external vendors. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) with 10+ years of experience and 5+ years in a leadership role; automotive experience is not required though stamping, machining, and heat treatment are part of the facility's operations; strong leadership, communication, and data-driven problem solving are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or AA with strong experience
- 10+ years of work experience
- 5+ years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance strategies, and process improvement methodologies
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making
- Proficiency in project management and budget control
- Familiarity with safety regulations
