Job Summary
Design and plan component fabrication, assembly, and material handling for rocket engine and power systems products. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for precision turning, welding, and machining operations while determining tooling requirements and performing risk assessments. Manage complex projects using Lean methodologies, including process certification, Kaizen, and Basis of Estimates development. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees, communicating with external vendors and customers to interpret policies and procedures. Solve complex problems through comprehensive analysis and creative solutions to improve system performance and operational targets.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship only, no dual citizenship
- Having an active DOD Secret Clearance or the willingness to obtain one
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
