Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Intern role focusing on building and maintaining a non-conformities database for assembly and painting; provide feedback to production team and operational managers; monitor and improve production performance indicators; coordinate modification of operational instructions; resolve industrial problems and participate in continuous improvement workshops; assist with documenting supplier non-conformities or customer returns and updating technical documentation and training materials; requires pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Operations and Logistics Management (or a related DEC), strong Excel/Office skills, bilingual English/French communication, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations and Logistics Management (in progress)
- College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Construction, or Aircraft Maintenance (in progress)
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is an asset
