Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Intern will support process improvement, documentation, data analysis, troubleshooting, and project support in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Under supervision of senior engineers, you will participate in lean initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S), create and update SOPs and work instructions, collect and analyze production data for quality/cost improvements, assist with tooling design and equipment installation, and help test new processes to optimize workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a plant environment and handle hands-on tasks
