Job Summary
Conduct line balancing, time studies, and value stream mapping while developing routing and gauge/fixture designs. Analyze material flow, program CNC operations, and perform capability studies using SPC practices. Learn LEAN principles, participate in lean events, and promote safety across all processes. Interface with departments and management to solve issues and meet deadlines. This part-time role supports Auburn Gear's planetary gear manufacturing across agriculture, construction, forestry, and marine markets.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in and pursuing a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering
- Time Study experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- CNC Programming (ESPRIT preferred)
