Job Summary
Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality while monitoring metrics like yield rates and overall equipment effectiveness. Oversee procurement, installation, training, and factory acceptance of new equipment, and develop business cases for capital investments and process upgrades. Conduct root cause analysis to resolve machine-related issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulatory codes. Manage tooling inventories, coordinate preventative maintenance, and facilitate the seamless introduction of new products through process automation and lean manufacturing principles. Deliver regular status reports to stakeholders and provide comprehensive training to ensure employee competency in operating equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or college diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent related discipline
- Proven experience 3-5 years in a manufacturing or process engineering role
