Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Analyst at Whirlpool Findlay Manufacturing (Findlay, OH). Responsibilities include root cause problem solving for major equipment downtime, eliminating or mitigating safety risks, reducing equipment scrap, increasing equipment output through design changes, analyzing data to pinpoint losses and reduce cost, and working cross-functionally to deliver projects on time to drive continuous improvement. Role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 6+ months of manufacturing experience (co-ops/internships acceptable); preferred candidates hold a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and have project management experience and 2+ years in manufacturing, with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience including co-ops and internship
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Project management experience
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- WCM (World Class Manufacturing) experience
