Manufacturing Engineer- Weekend Shift

Job Summary

Define and control production processes, including tooling and equipment, while validating design specifications and shop floor applications for new products. Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities, proposing innovative solutions with minimal guidance. Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events and support New Product Introduction and CNC processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, two years of manufacturing experience, and one year of CNC experience. Must work the weekend shift from Friday at 6am to Sunday at 6:30pm.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience)
  • At least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations
  • At least 1 year of CNC experience
  • Must be willing and able to work shift Fri- Sun 6am- 630pm
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

  • Programming (CNC)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software, Inventor, NX, 3D modeling software
  • Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
