Job Summary
Hands-on Manufacturing Engineer on the shop floor focused on driving continuous improvement, lean principles, and standardization to enhance productivity and reliability. Collaborates with engineering, operations, and maintenance to troubleshoot issues, support new equipment installations, optimize plant layout, develop preventive maintenance, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Provides technical direction on daily operations and documents standard work and training; requires active engagement on the production floor and may travel up to 10%. NOT eligible for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, or other solid modeling software
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement, metric development, and problem-solving
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
