Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer to lead onboarding of new products from engineering into manufacturing, develop and validate build processes and production workflows, ensure manufacturability and production readiness (DFM), create clear work instructions with safety and quality checkpoints, manage BOMs/routings in a dedicated MRP system, support configuration management and changes impacting cost/quality, drive pilot builds and ramp-up, and collaborate across Engineering, Safety/Quality/Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, and Production to optimize processes and throughput.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or in a production environment
- Strong experience with work instruction creation and process documentation
- Configuration management for active production
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (assembly, fabrication, testing)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
