Job Summary

Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, optimizing resource flow and adherence to quality standards. Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate machinery while optimizing performance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Continuously improve operations using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and streamline production. Develop comprehensive work instructions and procedures to standardize safety and quality, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and design for manufacturability. Provide technical support to production teams, resolve manufacturing issues, and conduct cost analysis to drive efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and mitigate potential hazards.

Required Qualifications

  • A passion for Trystar, its culture, and its strategic vision
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, with focus on metal fabrication, electro-mechanical and/or electronic assembly with solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, electrical systems, metal fabrication techniques and electrical mechanical assembly
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Familiarity with quality control and assurance processes and tools (e.g., statistical process control, failure mode and effects analysis)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high growth, rapid changing manufacturing environment
